Who we are

We’re the folks behind WrapsOfTheDay.com

When you leave a comment on our site, we collect the info you type, along with your IP address and browser details, to help us spot and stop spam.

If you’ve got a Gravatar account, we might send an anonymized version of your email to Gravatar to see if you’ve got a profile pic. Once your comment’s approved, everyone can see your pic next to your comment.

If you upload images, please don’t include any location data (EXIF GPS) as others can download and use it.

When you comment, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies. These last for a year and save you typing in your details every time.

We’ll also set a temporary cookie when you visit our login page to check if your browser accepts cookies. It’s deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we set up cookies to save your login info and screen choices. Login cookies last two days, while screen options last a year. If you select “Remember Me,” you’ll stay logged in for two weeks.

Embedded content

Articles might have content (like videos or images) from other sites. This content acts the same as if you visited those sites.

Those sites might collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including if you’re logged in.

How long we keep your data

Your rights over your data

If you’ve got an account or left comments, you can ask for a file with all your data or request we delete it. This doesn’t include data we need for admin, legal, or security reasons.
